Allie also played in the popular old time string band The Freight Hoppers, based in western North Carolina.

Her first solo record, a folk/children’s album called SING & PLAY ALL DAY, will be out in the fall of 2022. Whether performing, teaching, or playing with her son, Allie is enthusiastic and encouraging. She believes making music is something everyone can learn to do!
