Neither COVID19 vaccinations nor testing are required for this camp.

Until further notice, all Wernick Method classes will be conducted either outdoors or in very well-ventilated indoor spaces.


Bob Barrett began playing guitar in high school more than 50 years ago. Over the years he has performed in folk, bluegrass and rock ‘n roll bands. For the past 30 years Bob has been very involved in the bluegrass scene in Southwest Florida. He is the past president of the Southwest Florida Bluegrass Association and founded the Acoustic Music Society of SW Florida.

Bob teaches banjo, guitar, dobro, and mandolin at Ace Drums music store in Port Charlotte, Florida. He is a regular at weekly Bluegrass jams at Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda and at Heartland Bluegrass Association’s monthly Bluegrass Bash in Arcadia, Florida.
