Elena DeLisle (Shoreline, WA) has played and taught music professionally in a variety of settings and genres since the 1990s. Her career started with bluegrass guitar and mandolin with The Tanglefoot Quartet, playing hours of bluegrass in jams and on stage, while also earning a BA in jazz guitar. She has also played and recorded with notable musicians in a variety of styles, from Klezmer fusion with Seattle’s iconic The Debaucherauntes to most recently, western swing with The Apple Valley Wranglers. Along with her private lesson studio and many workshops, Elena currently teaches K-8 music classes at the Home Education Exchange in Shoreline.
