Glenn Reynolds

Glenn Reynolds (Frisco, CO)  plays and teaches upright bass, electric bass, guitar and mandolin. He started playing at 11 with an old Kay guitar. He loves introducing people to the bluegrass family, going to the bluegrass campouts and jamming with friends. “Countless new players have come through our jams and become versed in bluegrass. I’ve been proud to be a key teacher and mentor.” Glenn plays with the Blue Ox Boys of Eagle County Colorado and previously with the People’s Key in Summit County. He also performs on guitar and has been the host of a regular gospel show in Frisco Colorado.

“Glenn was one of the first that taught me bluegrass when I was 13, I’m 18 now and loving it. He’s always been supportive.”
“Glenn, the value I place on your intelligence, your musical abilities, and your friendship are beyond words. Simply wanted you to know that.”
“Glenn has a way of explaining music theory that makes it seem simple and understandable: ‘If you can say your alphabet from a to g that’s the only seven letters there are in music so how hard can it be?’”
“Glenn has been a patient and knowledgeable teacher. As soon as he starts playing bass, the song seems to take on a whole new life.”
