Level 2 Weekend Jam Camp

Level 2 Camp:
Designed for Wernick Method graduates and others comfortable with the basics of jamming and leading songs, and wanting to jam at intermediate tempos with similarly experienced musicians. Questions about qualifications, contact Jodi. Focus on:
- ideas for soloing and backup in different keys
- working as a group for good rhythm and sound quality
- effective lead singing, choosing best keys
- harmony singing
- tackling challenging material, including instrumentals
While you jam, put new ideas into action with immediate feedback.

Jodi Harbin is a career musician who teaches mandolin, guitar, banjo and bass. She was the founder of the Colorado bluegrass band, Lonesome Traveler, and has continued her involvement in the bluegrass community after moving to the Knoxville area. She now performs with several groups including The Savage Hearts, and with her husband Tim Harbin.
Working with Steve Kaufman at his camp every summer has exposed her to a wide range of teachers and teaching materials on all the bluegrass instruments.
