Camping and evening jamming available Monday and Tuesday nights at Fox Flat Liner Parking, 200 County Route 22, Oak Hill NY, 12460; $25 for 1 night, $40 for 2 nights; easy lineup Wednesday morning for the festival! No reservations; opens Monday at 9am. Other nearby accommodations sent upon request.

Campers are welcome to play at Open Mic on the festival’s Catskill Stage Wednesday evening. Entrance to the festival for the Open Mic at no cost.

Scott Hopkins

Scott Hopkins (Delanson, NY) brings a unique perspective to music, jam and banjo education, with overlapping public school music teaching and banjo performing careers spanning decades. Along with teaching Band at Duanesburg Central School District near Albany, NY he performs with The McKrells, the Upstate Bluegrass Band at the Saratoga Race Track, and with his own trio featuring originals and bluegrass, jazz and latin influenced tunes. Scott also teaches private in-person and virtual banjo students and at various jam and banjo camps throughout the Northeast. In recent years he has released two critically acclaimed solo banjo recordings.
