Sundays, April 2 – May 7, 2023

1:00 – 5:00pm each Sunday; no class on date TBA

Tuition: $200 for 4 Sessions

$10 off through March 2. $50 deposit holds your spot; 50% refundable for cancellations more than one month in advance. You will be sent the full set of of student materials as soon as you register.

Each student must submit proof of COVID vaccination or negative COVID test dated no earlier than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Instructions are provided upon registration.

Ira Gitlin is widely known and respected in Washington-Baltimore music circles as a versatile multi-instrumentalist, teacher, and writer. A winner of the National Bluegrass Banjo Championship at Winfield, he has also performed with such nationally known performers as the Johnson Mountain Boys, Laurie Lewis, and Peter Rowan.

Ira has taught at many camps and workshops, helping students master the basic skills that will make them a welcome presence at any jam session.
