Jenny & Matt Richardson are a husband wife team that have come together to create a musical environment welcoming to all. Co-owners and head instructors at Blue Raven Music studios they have honed their teaching skills to get over the last 13 years.

Matt grew up playing guitar exploring all styles (bluegrass, blues, rock, Western swing etc.), but really delved into bluegrass once Jenny bought him a banjo. Most recently he has begun exploring the mandolin. Jenny came to music in her early twenties picking up the guitar. This ignited her exploration into instruments beyond guitar leading her to mandolin, fiddle and her main gig instrument, the upright bass.

Together they have played in several bluegrass, Americana style bands with the most current being The Midnights Wanderers. They have attended multiple bluegrass camps taught by Steve Hanson, national banjo champion. They have also led numerous camps and jams through their studio.
