Trevin Nelson (Brighton, MA) is a bluegrass multi-instrumentalist and educator who, while attending the Berklee College of Music, dove deeply into the world of American roots music styles. As a co-founder of the acclaimed band The Ruta Beggars, he’s performed all over the US and Canada, supporting acts like Ricky Skaggs and Lyle Lovett. He is also an active solo artist and an experienced, committed teacher. His teaching blends musical knowledge with physical practices, for an ideal learning environment. Trevin’s aim is to enrich the lives of others through the joy of music, guiding them on their own unique musical journeys.
