Sébastien Ferry started playing music at age 11, learning trumpet and guitar (fingerpicking, jazz, blues, rock). He plays styles from traditional Celtic music to folk, gypsy jazz and bluegrass using the guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bouzouki, and more. He has performed on many stages including festivals (Francofolies, Foire aux vins de Colmar…) and other notable places (le Sentier des Halles, La Laiterie, and French institutes in Munich and Stuttgart). Sébastien takes great pleasure in transmitting his love of music to students with the aim of making them experienced enough to find their own way.

Sébastien’s students say:

“Sébastien is a very good teacher, very communicative, with very good advice.”
“Whether you are a beginner or not, I highly recommend Sébastien. His love for music invites you to persevere.”
“I recommend Sébastien 200%. With patience and good humor he gives confidence to my 10 year-old son. Very motivating and fun at the same time. He adapts to the student.”
“Sébastien is a passionate person who knows how to transmit the pleasure of learning. He knows how to correct bad habits to make you progress quickly.”
A ‘superprof’ in every sense of the word! Always listening, very good advice, and he knows how to adapt to my progress. I am delighted to have met him! I recommend him 1000 times!”
