Bill Fahy has been a performer and teacher in the Central NY region since 1998, he plays guitar, mandolin, old-time banjo, bass and “fiddles with the fiddle.” His current bands include the Flophouse String Band (bluegrass and old time) and Mighty Craic (Celtic and old time), with two CDs both containing his original songs. He’s also president of the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association and leads monthly jam sessions. He says, “I teach with a focus on fun, steady improvement, and playing with others.”
