Bob Perlstein

Bob Perlstein started playing guitar and banjo while in college and law school, and later picked up fiddle and mandolin. He’s played in many bands such as Northern Skyline, Wood Street Bloodhounds and Bluegrass Advocates. Bob has taught banjo at Indiana University night school, the Old Town School of Folk Music, various music stores and private lessons. Since he first attended the Winfield Festival in 1980 he’s focused on jamming, and now attends festivals in order to jam. Bob has had a lifelong passion for bluegrass music and enjoys helping others learn.
