Caid Jones grew up playing fiddle near Weiser, ID, one of the fiddling capitals of the world. He spent his teens practicing for hours after school, traveling to music festivals and competitions across the U.S. While earning his Masters in Fine Arts at California Arts Institute he discovered his passion for teaching. Since the early 20-teens, Caid has run his own music studio teaching fiddlers and pianists, and spent many summers teaching bluegrass at music camps. At festivals he enjoys leading bluegrass jams.
