Keith Murdock plays resophonic guitar, banjo and guitar, sings lead and harmony in the Orchard Creek Bluegrass Band and writes music. Keith started playing guitar in the 60s learning Ventures and Dick Dale tunes. He received a music degree, worked for the Country Music Association in Nashville and Feyline Concerts in Denver. His 70s and 80s bands opened for the Talking Heads, Huey Lewis, and the Ramones. Later on, he was introduced to bluegrass through being asked to play for a church service, and fell in love with the music through the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, and Flatt & Scruggs.
