Marty Calden is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, banjo), singer, and jam leader who believes bluegrass jamming can enrich and even change your life. Marty discovered bluegrass at the Old Town of Folk Music School in Chicago, which led to many bluegrass workshops, ensemble playing and jamming, teaching at Nashville Acoustic Camps, and most importantly, new friends. She is passionate about encouraging beginners to discover the joys of making music with others.
