Ti’ Pierre Chalfoun

Romagnieu, France

Ti’ Pierre started music on guitar and fiddle, and now plays and teaches all six bluegrass instruments. He has performed professionally since the 1980s, both solo and with traditional music bands including Ti’ Pierre & Les Johnny Crapauds, Oklahoma, Bayou Sauvage, and now the Froggy Hill Bluegrass band. Ti’ Pierre runs his own music school, L’Armadelle, Bluegrass & Old Time Center, in Romagnieu, near the French Alps, and works for the non-profit organization Jam Hall and the Kids On Bluegrass Europe project, supported by the famed Bluegrass In La Roche festival.
